NBC 穿越題材動作冒險美劇《時空守衛》（Timeless）慘遭取消，本月初電視網宣布預訂兩小時共兩集的全劇大結局為劇集完美收尾。日前該劇編劇室官方推特宣布大結局將於十月開拍、預計十二月播出，幕後陣容也同步公開。

Both hours will be directed by John Showalter (director "The Capture of Benedict Arnold", "The Murder of Jesse James", "Hollywoodland" and "The General"). Shooting will begin in October.

此大結局分為上下兩集，皆由曾執導本劇的約翰休華特（John F. Showalter）操刀，上集由第二季「The Day Reagan Was Shot」共同編劇羅倫格雷爾（Lauren Greer）執筆、下集由曾替第一、二季等四集編劇的艾瑞卡麗薩尼密特曼（Arika Lisanne Mittman）執筆劇本。
