Netflix 原創恐怖美劇《黑暗夏日》（Black Summer）甫上線就受到不少活屍迷關注。由於故事設定在病毒爆發初時，因此也讓觀眾相比另一部背景設定相似的代表性影集《陰屍路》（The Walking Dead），誰優誰劣在網路上出現激烈辯論。以下就來看看國外網友們如何評價兩部作品。

網友 Steve Freeman 認為《黑暗夏日》就像是沒有好故事、好演技、好攝影、好的角色發展和好佈景的《陰屍路》，「我現在只看到第二集，希望能有個廣告，並支持著活屍把他們全殺了。」

另一名網友 Sulav Khatiwada 則是嘗試看了一集《黑暗夏日》就放棄了。他表示，有人說這部劇會是下一個《陰屍路》，但他認為差得遠了。

不過也有網友持相反意見。Adam III 認為《黑暗夏日》比起《陰屍路》要更為恐怖。原因是更加的真實，劇本感沒有這麼重，呈現出人類在末日時的真實反應。

Man if you're looking for a new good realistic zombie apocalypse show 'Black Summer' on Netflix.

I like it more than 'The Walking Dead.' It's more real. Feels less scripted and more how people would actually react in an apocalypse.

此外，也有不少人比較了《陰屍路》和《黑暗夏日》的活屍。相比《陰屍路》，《黑暗夏日》的活死人的確跑得非常的快，讓網友幽默表示，如果活在《黑暗夏日》世界中，絕對需要更多的彈藥。更用橄欖球名將比爾羅曼諾夫斯基（Bill Romanowski）來比喻。

目前《黑暗夏日》爛番茄指數為 50%，IMDb評分僅 6.5，相比《陰屍路》首季評價其實遜色不少。

雖然《黑暗夏日》改編自《殭屍國度》（Z Nation）同名前傳漫畫，但整體風格差距甚大，就連女主角潔米金（Jaime King）當初接洽演出時都不知道這件事。

雖然評價普普，但《黑暗夏日》製作團隊已有規劃多季的計畫，就等 Netflix 點頭同意續訂了。（comicbook）
