迪士尼線上影音平台 Disney+於 2019 年 11 月正式上線，首波推出的原創影集《星際大戰》真人影集《曼德羅一族》（或譯《曼達洛人》，The Mandalorian）第一季大獲成功，劇中的尤達寶寶引爆話題，帶動劇集聲量與週邊商品的販售。隨著《曼達洛人》第一季已於上周正式落幕，眾多粉絲在推特上表示想要退訂 Disney+。

這些粉絲完全是衝著《曼達洛人》才訂閱 Disney+，表示除非第二季回歸、或是第一部漫威節目上線前都不會再訂閱。

如此現象點出 Disney+ 的弱點。Netflix 每週都有源源不絕的新片與新劇上架，反觀 Disney+上線至今只有《曼達洛人》與《歌舞青春：音樂劇》（High School Musical: The Musical: The Series）兩部主打的全新原創影集，其它皆為經典名片與陸續上架的熱門院線片，這些作品可能觀眾早就看過，Disney+必須趕緊推出獨家新作才能持續留住用戶。
