至於《王冠》真的有可能會把這個事件寫進去劇本在未來的季數裡播出嗎？影集監製蘇珊麥克（Suzanne Mackie）向 BBC 表示：「老實說，發生在《王冠》目前劇情之後的事，我對我們是否會走到今天存疑…我們不會進入當今的時間點。」從這番回應看來，網友們想看梅根在《王冠》裡演自己，只能死了這條心了。
