《鬼入侵》主創麥可弗拉納根（Mike Flanagan）、監製崔佛梅西（Trevor Macy）在劇集大獲成功後，與 Netflix 簽下全面合約。隨著系列新篇章《鬼莊園》（The Haunting of Bly Manor）推出和今年將首播的新劇《Midnight Mass》外，另一部正籌備的《The Midnight Club》也在今日公開卡司陣容。

《The Midnight Club》改編自恐怖小說家克里斯多夫派克（Christopher Pike）在 1994 年出版的作品，原著背景設定在一間安寧照護機構，聚焦一群得到絕症的青少年男女，他們在午夜時齊聚分享鬼故事。由於好奇死後世界，眾人約定好無論誰先死亡，都必須自墳墓裡頭傳遞訊息給未亡者。

這群青少年男女將由多位新生代演員飾演，包括艾迪亞（Adia）、伊比理格尼（Igby Rigney）、露絲科德（Ruth Codd）、古川彩（Aya Furukawa）、安娜拉雪普（Annarah Shephard）、威廉克里斯桑普特（William Chris Sumpter）、索里亞沙普科塔（Sauriyan Sapkota）。

此外，《國定殺戮日：無法無天》查克吉爾福德（Zach Gilford）、《毒梟：墨西哥》麥特彼德爾（Matt Biedel）、《寂林殺機》莎曼珊史洛揚（Samantha Sloyan）也在此波卡司名單中，而以《半夜鬼上床》聞名的女星海瑟拉吉坎普（Heather Langenkamp）則將飾演經營安寧照護機構的醫師。

如同《鬼入侵》、《鬼莊園》一樣，麥可弗拉納根將會把克里斯多夫派克其它筆下作品融入《The Midnight Club》中。

麥可弗拉納根將與《幻異傳奇》、《鬼莊園》編劇莉亞馮（Leah Fong）擔任《The Midnight Club》主創，前者同時為編劇並執導首兩集。

《The Midnight Club》首季共十集尚未公布上線年份。
